Meet the Team at J.R. Boehlke Inc.
Jason Boehlke
Jason Boehlke, Founder, has been in the asphalt industry since he was 10 years old. He has been getting his hands dirty for the past 28 years and learning a lot along the way. Jason is open to new ideas and continues to stay up with the ever evolving industry.
He is an avid sports fan. He was a four sport athlete in high school, going to state individually and as a team in football, wrestling and track & field his senior year. His crowning achievement was winning the 1998 Division 2 state Football Championship after posting a 14-0 record, and being named 1998 North Shore Conference Player of the Year, All-Conference, All-Region, All-State and a two way starter and team captain in the prestigious Wisconsin Shrine Bowl.
Jason graduated from the University of Wisconsin - Whitewater with a degree in Economics. He is a proud father to a beautiful little girl, and is also the proud owner of one Great Dane
Pro-Coat was founded by Jason Boehlke in 1996, during his sophomore year of high school with the help of a project in his Marketing class. He learned how to seal coat by helping a relative on weekends. This business was started at his parent's house with a truck and a trailer. Leads were generated by handing out flyers after school and knocking on people's doors. Jason continued to grow Pro-Coat throughout college before graduating in 2004 from the University of Wisconsin: Whitewater with a degree in Economics and a minor in Health Promotion.
As part of Jason's high school marketing project, he created a business plan with the potential to grow in the future. He selected the name Pro-Coat because he planned on expanding into other areas of the outside service industry with using Pro- as the beginning for each business. The other business names that were part of this plan are Pro-Cut Lawn Maintenance, Pro-Pave Asphalt, Pro-Scapers, and Pro-Enterprises.
Pro-Cut was started in 2007 after Jason saw an opportunity with his advertising outlets to gain enough customers to start a lawn maintenance crew. Since then, Pro-Cut has expanded every year offering great service at a fair price. Pro-Cut also slowly started to enter into all aspects of the maintenance side of landscaping including tree trimming and removal, bed maintenance, mulching, and fertilization and weed control.
2008-2011 Pro-Coat and Pro-Enterprises expanded to offer hardscaping, paving, and mosquito control services.
In 2015 Pro-Coat and Pro-Enterprises as well as their subdivisions of Pro-Cut, Pro-Pave, Pro-Scapers, and Pro-Squito were combined under one new business entity, J.R. Boehlke, Inc.
1996
Jason started sealing driveways and Pro-Coat was established.
2008
Pro-Scapers started installing patios, retaining walls and sidewalks.
2011
Pro-Squito pest control services started.
2007
Lawn and landscape services began as Pro-Enterprises & it’s first subdivision Pro-Cut was established.
2009
Pro-Pave began with the help of his uncle who is well known in the paving industry for over 30 years.
2015
The new and final entity, J.R. Boehlke, Inc. was formed, while all of the previous entities were dissolved. This business was created because Jason wanted to put his name on each and every job moving forward.
